Winnifred "Winnie" Kukuczka, age 56 of Waterville, formerly of Waseca, died Saturday, September 15, 2012 at Elm Home Care in Waterville. Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Tuesday, September 18th at 2:00 PM at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Waseca with Fr. Marty Shaefer, Celebrant. Interment will be in the St. Jarlath Cemetery, Iosco Township, Waseca County. Visitation will be held on Tuesday from 12:30 PM until the hour of service, at Sacred Heart Catholic Church. McRaith Funeral Home & Crematory of Waseca is handling arrangements. In lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred to the Mayo Clinic Health System-Mankato Hospice. Winnifred Elizabeth was born August 25 1956 in Waseca, Minnesota to George and Alice (Haley) Kukuczka. She lived most of her life in Waseca, where for over 22 years she was employed with Jobs Plus. For the last two years Winnie has resided at Elm Homes of Waterville. Winnie enjoyed going on picnics, playing in the park, fishing, and attending summer camp. She is survived by her sisters, Kathy Gardner and Lucy Kukuczka both of Owatonna, Mary Broughten of Motley, Noreen Kukuczka of Blooming Prairie, Leona Kukuczka of Waseca, and Diane (Dave) Brady of Louisiana; by her brothers, Philip (Darlene) Kukuczka, Jim, Jerry, and Bobby Kukuczka, all of Waseca, Duane Kukuczka of Florida, and Marty (Jen) Kukuczka of Mankato. She was preceded in death by her parents, and her brother Ronald. Casketbearers are her brothers: Phil, Jim, Jerry, Bobby, Duane and Marty.
