William Roehrich November 18, 1951 - February 5, 2012

William "Will" Roehrich, age 60 of Faribault, died Sunday, February 5, 2012 at the Arizona Regional Medical Center in Apache Junction, AZ. Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, February 14, 2012 at 11:00 a.m. at the Cathedral of Our Merciful Saviour in Faribault with The Very Rev. James Zotalis, Dean of The Cathedral officiating. Interment will be held at the Meadow Ridge Memorial Park, Faribault. Visitation will be held at the Parker Kohl Funeral Home & Crematory of Faribault on Monday from 4:00 to 7:00 p.m. and at the church on Tuesday for one hour prior to services. William Lawrence, the son of Carlyle and Elizabeth (Meister) Roehrich, was born on November 18, 1951 in Faribault, MN. He attended Faribault Senior High School and graduated with the class of 1970. Following high school Will attended South Central Technical College. He was united in marriage to Brenda Thibodeau at the St. Elizabeth Chapel at the Cathedral of Our Merciful Saviour. They were later divorced. Will worked for Rice County for 36 years and was in charge of indoor and outdoor maintenance of Rice County buildings. Will enjoyed his home on Cannon Lake and the time spent on the lake fishing. He also loved to golf and sing. Will was known for his ability to sing karaoke and was always a pleasure to listen to. Will enjoyed hockey and he volunteered as a coach with the Faribault Hockey Association. Another of Will''s hobbies was building and flying model airplanes. Family was important to Will and especially his relationship with his nephew Chad. In retirement Will spent the past few winters with his parents in Apache Junction, AZ. He is survived by his father, Carlyle Roehrich of Faribault; by his brother, Jeff (Carmia) Roehrich of Rapid City, SD; by his sister, Carla (William) Laws of Mesa, AZ; by his nieces and nephews and their children, Todd (Jamie) Young, and their children, Carlyle, Dean and Joselyn of Wayne, NE, James (Sheila) Abrahamsson, and their children, Maya and Leah of Denver, CO, Chad (Nicole) Young, and their children, Ethan, Catelyn and Courtney of Madison Lake, MN, Jennifer (Kevin) Steele, and their children, Zoe and Lila of Kirkland, Washington, Sasha Roehrich of Rapid City, SD and Jared Roehrich of Lincoln, NE and other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his mother, Elizabeth Roehrich.
