WILLIAM GEORGE BRAUN, age 89 of Waseca, died on Sunday, October 6, 2019 at Latham Place Assisted Living in Waseca.
Born in Alton Township, Waseca County on May 27, 1930, Bill was the son of Otto and Alwine (Sievert) Braun.  He attended rural Waseca County schools before moving on to Trinity Lutheran School in Janesville.  Bill married Florence Schwarz on July 12, 1953 at Trinity Lutheran in Janesville.  Together they lived and farmed the family farm for the remainder of their lives together.  Over those years, he and Florence received many awards for their excellent dairy operation.  Bill enjoyed playing cards, ice fishing, mowing his yard, and attending family events. 
Bill is survived by three daughters, Carol (Ron Weise) Klampe of Waseca, Karen (Ed) Roozen of Janesville, and Susan (Tim) Stevenson of North Mankato; six grandchildren, Michael (Devann) Klampe, Corey (Carolyn) Klampe, Jessica (Toby) Anderson, Jennifer (Cory) Connors, Leah Stevenson, and Logan Stevenson; six great-grandchildren, Dalton, Peyton, and Bevin Klampe, Tiera and Ava Anderson, and Kenzie Connors; and two sisters-in-law, LaJune (John) Schmidt of Janesville, and Beverly (Pat) Muldoon of Madison Lake.  He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife; and twin sisters, Doris Manthey and Delores Krause.
Visitation will be held from 3-7PM on Thursday, October 10, 2019 at Trinity Lutheran Church in Janesville, and will continue for one hour before the service at the church on Friday.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00AM on Friday, October 11, 2019 at Trinity Lutheran Church in Janesville.  Interment will follow at the Janesville Cemetery.
