Wallace 'Wally' Benjamin January 23, 1935 - August 16, 2014

Wallace "Wally" Benjamin, age 79, of Faribault, passed away Saturday, August 16, 2014, at the Alterra Sterling House of Faribault.

Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Wednesday, August 20, 2014, at 10:30 a.m. at the Divine Mercy Catholic Church, 139 Mercy Drive, Faribault. Interment will be at the Calvary Cemetery in Faribault.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday from 9:30 - 10:30 a.m. at the church.

Arrangements are with the Parker Kohl Funeral Home & Crematory of Faribault.

Wallace Benjamin was born on January 23, 1935, in Faribault to David Sr. and Emma (Snorek) Benjamin. Wally worked for Bliss Ford of Faribault, retiring after working over 25 years. He was dedicated to his church and was a member of the Faribault Council 889 Knights of Columbus. Wally enjoyed traveling and fishing. Most recently he had lived and received tremendous care at the Sterling House in Faribault.

He is survived by two brothers, Art (Rita) Benjamin of St. Paul, MN, and David Benjamin Jr. of Pequot Lakes, MN; and many nieces, nephews, and other relatives and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents; and brother, Ronald Benjamin.
