Timothy John Preuss, age 65 of Waseca passed away on Tuesday January 28, 2020 at Traditions 2 Memory Care in Owatonna, MN.

Timothy was born on November 17, 1954 at the Waseca Hospital to Donald and Marcaline (Wees) Preuss. Growing up in Waseca, Tim attended St. Paul Lutheran Church, helped at Preusss Bakery, and enjoyed riding his motorcycle. Timothy graduated from Waseca High School and attend the Mankato Technical College for Culinary Arts. Timothy married Anita Scholljegerdes on May 28, 1978. Together they had 3 daughters. Tim and Anita later divorced after 20 years of marriage.

Tim worked as the head cook at the Evergreen Knoll in Faribault until its closing.  Tim owned and operated the Busy Bee Café in Waseca for 10 years before selling it.  He later worked as the kitchen manager at The Willows in New Richland then retired after working at Quad Graphics.

Tim enjoyed visiting the Minnesota State Fair, attending auctions, collecting A&W memorabilia, traveling, and watching sci-fi and action movies.

Tim is survived by his daughters Crystal (Randy) Zimmerman of Waseca, Angela Preuss (Derek DeRaad) of Waseca, and Tiffany Preuss of Pine Island; grandchildren, Darian, Ethan, Ryan, and Addison Zimmerman and Cameron and Miya DeRaad; sister, Julianne (Bruce) Bock; sister-in-law, Carol Preuss; and several nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts, and uncles. Tim was preceded in death by his parents and his brothers, David Preuss and Richard Preuss. Funeral services will be held at St. Pauls Lutheran Church in Waseca on Monday February 3, 2020 at 11:00 A.M.  Visitation will be held on Monday, one hour before services at the church.
