Thomas White November 9, 1920 - April 13, 2011

Thomas (Tom) Francis White went home to see his Lord on April 13, 2011. Tom was 90 years of age. He is survived by his wife of 60 years, Doreen, and daughter Marijo Fischer and son-in-law Tim Fischer of Waseca, Minnesota, as well as sister-in-law Elizabeth White, and many greatly loved nephews and nieces. Tom was the last surviving family member of George and Veronica White. Tom was born in Le Sueur County on November 9, 1920. He spent many years as a farmer near Madison Lake. He had a great fondness of animals, especially horses. He spent the last 50 years in the Twin Cities area, and moved to Waseca in 2007 to spend the last 4 years of his life at Lake Shore Inn under the loving care of his "angels". Tom was preceded in death by his parents, and siblings Raymond, Ralph, Beatrice, Florence, James, Alice, John, and Leo, and his beloved canine companion "Ruby". Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Monday, April 18th at 1:30 p.m. at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Waseca with Fr. Martin Schaefer, Celebrant. Interment will be in the Immaculate Conception Cemetery in Marysburg. Visitation will be held on Sunday from 2 to 6 p.m. at McRaith Funeral Home & Crematory in Waseca, and will continue on Monday afternoon for one hour prior to services, at church. Casketbearers are: Gerald Johns, John Reintjes, Peter Reintjes, Phillip Leibfried, Steve Biehn, and Robert Joseph.
