Thomas F. Bagan, age 59 of Waseca, died on Thursday, April 22, 2010 at North Memorial Hospital in Robbinsdale, MN. Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Tuesday, April 27th at 2:00 p.m. at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Waseca with Fr. Marty Schaefer, Celebrant. Interment will be in the Calvary Cemetery, Waseca. Visitation will be held on Monday from 4 to 8 p.m. at McRaith Funeral Home, and will continue on Tuesday afternoon for one hour prior to services, at church. Thomas Francis was born May 6, 1950 in Waseca, Minnesota to George "Bob" and Helen (Cunningham) Bagan. While a student at Sacred Heart High School he worked for the Waseca Post Office. He graduated from Sacred Heart High School in 1968, and later from Faribault Vo-Tech. Tom worked for Birds Eye in Waseca before entering military service in 1970. He served his country in United States Army until his honorable discharge in 1972. Tom returned home and continued his employment with Birds Eye. He was united in marriage to Claudette Sue Neubert on November 23, 1979 at Sacred Heart Church in Waseca. Tom and Claudette have lived their entire married life in Waseca. During his career with Birds Eye Tom worked as a cool whip cook, and compressor room operator. He was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Waseca. Tom enjoyed learning about, and working with new technology. He is survived by his wife Claudette of Waseca; by his daughter Tierney Bagan and fianc Joseph Fine, and granddaughter Charlotte of Mankato, and his son Br. George Vincent Ferrer Bagan, a Dominican novice of Cincinnati, OH; by his sisters Pat (Gordy) Frisk of Waseca and Kitty Wille of Mankato; by his brothers-in-law Bob Farley of Janesville and Bruce Degen of Champlin; by his sisters-in-law Julie Bagan of Pueblo, CO, and Cynthia (David) Paeper of Excelsior; by his nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents; by his brother Michael Bagan and his sister Maureen (Bagan) Farley; by his mother-in-law Ruth (Bauer) Neubert and sister-in-law Charlotte (Neubert) Degen.
