Tamera Jeanine, the daughter of Dale and Linda (Null) Covington, was born on August 30, 1972 in Minneapolis, MN. As a young girl she grew up in White Bear Lake, MN and attended White Bear Lake High School and graduated with the class of 1990. After high school she attended the University of Minnesota.

Tamera, Tammy as she was known by her family, lived in service of others. Whether it was bringing a smile to a friend''s face with homemade cookies, uplifting a coworker with encouraging words, or reading a story to her beloved niece, Tamera spread joy everywhere she went. This was by design. She believed strongly in choosing joy, despite many disappointments and challenges that would turn many bitter.

She believed in a higher purpose and power that gave her strength and hope. She shared her light with everyone and never complained, even though she suffered. Tamera loved to read, make jewelry and crafts and try out new recipes. We will miss her delicious egg bakes and Pannekoekens and pecan tassies at Christmas. We will miss her cheerful face and beautiful soul. Tamera loved her family and friends fiercely and would do anything for them. She will be missed by all who knew her but we rejoice in the freedom she now has from the medications, the scars, the tubes and the hospital visits. We are grateful for the time we had with her and having the honor of knowing her. You were so brave and you

taught us by example to be better people and to cherish every day. Goodbye, for now, sweet daughter, sister, auntie and friend. We love you and will keep you in our hearts forever.

She is survived by her parents, Dale and Linda Covington of Cannon Falls, MN; by her sister, Amy Covington of Minneapolis, MN; by her brother, Matthew Covington of St. Paul, MN; by her niece, Nicole Covington of Cannon Falls, MN; by her uncles, Gary (Carol) Null of Illinois and Ric (Cherie) Null of Centerville, MN and by cousins and other relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by her maternal grandparents, Hubert and Julia Null, paternal grandparents, Dale Sr. and Valera Covington and by her aunt, Faith Bollinger.
