Steven Dumdei

STEVEN CHARLES DUMDEI, age 64, of Mankato, died Thursday, April 9, 2020, at his home.

Born on June 7, 1955, in Waseca to Alvin and Lorraine (Stanke) Dumdei. He attended Janesville High School, graduating with the class of 1973. Following his education, he enlisted into the United States Navy. Steven enjoyed summer fishing as well as ice fishing, playing cards, cooking and listening to music. He was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church in Janesville. Steven looked forward to spending time with his family and friends.

Steven is survived by his two children: Heather Dumdei of Mankato, and Nathan Dumdei of St. Peter; one grandchild, Lillian Funk of Thief River Falls. He is also survived by his sister, Sharon Ryan of Janesville; niece, Stacie Ingle of Janesville; great nephew and great niece: Cody Ingle of Janesville and Kelsey Ingle of Janesville; other relatives and friends.

Preceded in death by his parents, Alvin and Lorraine (Stanke) Dumdei.

Private Family services were held and burial will be in Ft. Snelling National Cemetery on a later date.
