Sharon Archambault June 12, 1952 - October 2, 2008

Sharon Archambault, age 56, of Faribault, died peacefully on Thursday, October 2, 2008 at her home. Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Monday, October 6, 2008 at 10:30 a.m. at St. Patrick''s Catholic Church in Shieldsville, with the Rev. Kevin Finnegan, pastor officiating. Interment will be held at St. Patrick''s Church Cemetery. Visitation will be held at the Parker Kohl Funeral Home in Faribault on Sunday from 2:00 to 7:00 p.m. and at the church on Monday for one hour prior to services. Sharon Evelyn Trcka, the daughter of Alois and Evelyn (Ceplecha) Trcka, was born on June 12, 1952 in Faribault. She attended Montgomery High School and graduated with the class of 1970. Following high school she attended South Central Technical College. On October 21, 1972 she was united in marriage to Keith Archambault at St. Patrick''s Catholic Church in Shieldsville. Sharon worked for 36 years as a banker, starting her career at the Citizens State Bank of Montgomery, later moving to First Federal Savings and Loan of Faribault and for most of her career Sharon worked at Norwest Bank, now Wells Fargo in Faribault. Sharon had a passion for her yard and because of this passion she was a full time and dedicated flower gardener. Family was also her passion and she enjoyed all of her family very much. Sharon was a member of the POI group of Faribault. She is survived by her husband, Keith Archambault of Faribault, by three sons, Dan Archambault of Burnsville, Scott (Melia) Archambault of Waconia, MN and Ryan Archambault and special friend Brittany Cherwinka of Faribault; by her parents, Alois and Evelyn Trcka of Lonsdale; by her brother, Elgin Trcka of Lonsdale; by her brother and sister in laws, Richard and Sandy Archambault and family of Faribault, Eugene and Gerry Archambault and family of Arizona, Janet and John Coffey and family of Faribault, Gary and Karen Archambault and family of Bloomington, MN, Dean and Lou Ann Archambault and family of Burnsville and Randy and Kathy Archambault and family of Faribault and other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her grandparents, Albert and Rose Ceplecha and by her father and mother in law, Robert (RJ) and Florence Archambault.
