Sandra Thomas June 2, 1961 - February 6, 2010

Sandra "Sandy" Thomas, age 48, of Faribault, passed away on Saturday, February 6, 2010 at St. Mary''s Hospital in Rochester. Memorial services will be held on Wednesday, February 10, 2010 at 11:00 a.m. at the Parker Kohl Funeral Home in Faribault, with Bernadette Tatge, pastoral minister of Divine Mercy Catholic Church, officiating. Spring interment will be at St. Lawrence Cemetery in Faribault. Visitation will be held on Wednesday from 9:00 to 11:00 a.m. at the funeral home. Sandra Kay Thomas, the daughter of Sylvester Sr. and Beatrice (Kotek) Thomas, was born on June 2, 1961 in Faribault. She graduated from Faribault High School with the class of 1980. Sandy worked at Jerome Foods/Turkey Store in Faribault, United Steel in Montgomery, ServiceMaster in Dundas, and for the last two years at Gainey Conference Center in Owatonna. Sandy loved to spend time with her nieces and nephews and caring for her pets. She also enjoyed a good card game. She is survived by three brothers, Sylvester Jr. (Linda) Thomas of Kenyon, Lee (Linda) Thomas of New Prague and Robert Thomas of Faribault; four sisters, Irene (Rodney) Little of Lonsdale, and Sharon (Robert) Meillier, Mary Ann Thomas and Joan (Dale) Brooks, all of Faribault; and by many nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents; sister, Anna Cortez; and an infant sister, Darlene Thomas.
