RICHARD MARK WILL, age 76 of Waseca, died on Monday, March 28, 2016 at the Lakeshore Inn in Waseca.
Richard was born on February 27, 1940 in Williston, North Dakota to Mark and Helen (Lundholm) Will.  His mother passed away when Richard was very young and he went on to be loved and raised by his fathers second wife, Cleo (Snyder) Will.  He attended school in Waseca, graduating from Waseca High School in 1958.  Richard was a business student at Mankato State University and then served at the Naval Air Station in Memphis, TN, where he met his wife, Janet.  They were married on March 26, 1964 in Nashville, TN.  Richard and Janet moved to Des Moines where he worked as a sales representative for the Wills Company.  They later moved back to Waseca where Richard continued his sales career working with his father, Mark.  In 1973 he bought the family business, increasing sales and accounts with his hard work ethic and love for sales.  Richard was an active member of the Upper Midwest Allied Gift Association (UMAGA) and attended many gift shows and conventions.  He retired in 2003 and sold the business to his children.  He remained active in the company throughout his life, providing valuable advice and direction.
He loved to travel with his family and enjoyed spending time with his children and grandchildren.  He had a passion for boating, fishing, skiing, swimming, and playing cards with friends.  His favorite place was on the water.  Richard was also a man of great faith, serving as an active member of First Congregational Church his entire life.
Richard is survived by his devoted wife of 52 years, Janet Will of Waseca; two children, Eric (Nicci) Will of Waseca, and Tracy (Shawn) Pomeroy of Waseca; five grandchildren, Allison (Anthony) Nelson of Colorado Springs, CO, Kevin (Katie) Will of Ames, IA, Caitlyn Will of Los Angeles, CA, and Cole and Ian Pomeroy of Waseca; one great-granddaughter, Finley Nelson of Colorado Springs, CO, one great-grandson due in June; and one sister, Gloria (Wayne) Beeby of Chazy, NY.  He was preceded in death by his parents and one niece.
