Mildred Duffney August 17, 1931 - June 4, 2012

Mildred D. Duffney, age 80, of Tacoma, Washington and formerly of Faribault, was gently reunited with her husband Vince, on June 4, 2012 in Tacoma. Graveside services will be held on Saturday, June 16, 2012 at 10:00 a.m. at the St. Lawrence Cemetery in Faribault. Visitation will be held at the Parker Kohl Funeral Home & Crematory of Faribault on Friday, June 15, 2012 from 4:00 to 8:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to Bethlehem Academy in memory of Mildred. Mildred was born on August 17, 1931 in Rock County, Minnesota to Roy and Viola (Shannon) Leslie. She attended Jasper High School and graduated with the class of 1949. On May 11, 1968, Mildred was united in marriage to Vincent J. Duffney Sr. in Faribault; he preceded her in death in 2010. Mildred was a waitress at Wimpy''s in Faribault and also at GG''s in Washington. She enjoyed crocheting, embroidering and watching T.V. She was a former member of the Faribault Aerie 1460 Fraternal Order of Eagles Auxiliary. Mildred lived in Tacoma, Washington for the past thirty eight years. Mildred is survived by her seven children, Bruce (Linda) Bowman of Faribault, Brian (Sue) Bowman of Blooming Prairie, Sheila (Bob) Kenworthy of University Place, WA, Craig (Barb) Bowman of Spanaway, WA, Vince (Tamara) Duffney Jr. of Tacoma, WA, Kevin Duffney of Spanaway, WA and Mary Ellen (Allen) Davis of Puyallup, WA; by her many grandchildren and great grandchildren; her five siblings, Georgia Bailey of Cambridge, Evelyn Catanese of Sarasota, FL, Alta (Lloyd) Holling of Faribault, Leo (Marge) Leslie ofJasper and Ruth Muller of Riverton, WY and by many nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends.
