Mary Jane Hart, age 74, of Faribault and formerly of Kasson-Mantorville, passed away peacefully Sunday, December 15, 2013, at her home.

Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Thursday, December 19, 2013 at 10:30 a.m. at the Church of St. Patrick in Shieldsville, MN. Interment will be held at St. Margaret''s Cemetery in Mantorville, MN.

Visitation will be held at the Church of St. Patrick on Thursday from 9:00 to 10:30 a.m.

Arrangements are being completed by the Parker Kohl Funeral Home & Crematory of Faribault, MN.

Mary Jane Wytaske, the daughter of Andrew and Mary (Czarnek) Wytaske was born on July 5, 1939 in Janesville, MN. Mary''s family would move to Mantorville, MN and she attended Kasson-Mantorville High School and graduated with the class of 1957. On May 11, 1957 she was united in marriage to Gene Hart in Rochester, MN. After their marriage Mary Jane and Gene lived in Mantorville, MN and raised three of their four children there. Later they would move to Faribault and their home at French Lake where their youngest daughter Mary Stacy was born. Mary Jane enjoyed collecting swans and their home is filled with many from their travels to different places. She also enjoyed fishing and their many trips to Canada each year to do this. She loved to work in her flower gardens and especially enjoyed spending time with all of her family. Mary Jane was a member of the Church of St. Patrick CCW and also the Red Hat Club.

She is survived by her husband of 56 years, Gene Hart of Faribault; by four children, Therese Hart of Burnsville, MN, Brian Hart of Long Beach, CA, Angela Hart of Faribault and Mary "Stacy" (Caleb) Freeman of Faribault; by 9 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren and by other relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents and by her brother Andrew Wytaske.
