Mary Alice Golden October 22, 1926 - October 27, 2014

Mary Alice Golden, age 88, of Faribault, MN, passed away Monday, October 27, 2014, at St. Lucas Care Center in Faribault.

Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Friday, October 31, 2014, at 10:30 a.m. at the Divine Mercy Catholic Church, 139 Mercy Drive, Faribault. Interment will be at the Fort Snelling National Cemetery in Minneapolis, MN.

Visitation will be held at the church on Friday from 10:00 - 10:30 a.m.

Arrangements are with the Parker Kohl Funeral Home & Crematory.

Mary Alice was born on October 22, 1926, in Blooming Prairie, MN, to Elmer and Edna (Dennis) Johnson. She graduated from Blooming Prairie High School with the class of 1944. She was married to Patrick Golden on February 6, 1947, in Faribault. Mary Alice worked as a bookkeeper for Erickson Furniture, Lockwood Auto, and First Federal Bank. She was an avid bridge player, loved to cook, and a devoted member of her church rosary circle and the Keller Club.

She is survived by her loving husband of 67 years, Patrick Golden of Faribault; daughter, Linda (Marvin) Mirsky of Cape Coral, FL; granddaughter, Lauren (Rick) Morningstar; great granddaughter, Zoe Morningstar; siblings, Gerry Oswald, Allen (Dorothy) Johnson, and Georgeanne Toquam, all of Blooming Prairie; and many other relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents; and brother, Elmer Donald Johnson.
