MARGERY L. MOLKENTHIN, age 86 of Waseca died on Tuesday, May 1, 2018 at the Mayo Clinic Health System in Mankato.
Born on October 29, 1931 in Waseca County, Minnesota, she was the daughter of Harold and Lillie (Johnson) Nesbitt.  She was baptized and confirmed at Trinity Lutheran Church in New Richland.  Margery married Wilfred Molkenthin on November 6, 1949 and they were blessed with three daughters.  Margery worked at various places including Birds Eye, Herters and Brown Printing Co. all in Waseca.  She was also a licensed daycare provider, working in her home for a number of years.    Margery enjoyed camping and traveling, collecting spoons and salt and pepper shakers, garage sales, baking, canning, gardening, flowers, embroidery, and reading.  She and her husband also enjoyed spending winters in Texas.   Margery was a member of Christ the King Lutheran Church in Waseca and the Waseca Senior Citizens Center.
Margery is survived by three daughters, Linda Molkenthin of Waseca, Karen Peterson of Owatonna, and Diane (Rodrick) Lorentz of Janesville; six grandchildren; one step-grandson; and13 great grandchildren.   She is also survived by one niece, three nephews, and several cousins.   She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Wilfred in 2012; one great grandson, Trae Peterson; one brother, Robert Johnson; and cousins. Funeral services will be held on Friday, May 4, 2018 at 2:00 PM at Dennis Funeral & Cremation Services in Waseca with Rev. Cary Larson officiating.  Burial will follow at Woodville Cemetery.  Visitation will be held on Friday, one hour before services at the funeral home.
