Margaret M. "Peggy" Thompson, age 74 of Blue Earth, died on Monday, December 3, 2012 at St. Mary''s Hospital in Rochester.

Memorial services will be held on Friday, December 7th at 1:00 P.M. at McRaith Funeral Home & Crematory in Waseca, with Fr. Martin Schaefer, officiating. Interment will be in Calvary Cemetery, Waseca.

Visitation will be held on Thursday from 4 to 7 P.M. at McRaith Funeral Home and will continue on Friday one hour prior to services at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers memorials preferred.

Margaret Mary was born August 10, 1938 in Waseca, Minnesota to Thomas and Esther (Ross) Murphy. She graduated from Sacred Heart High School with the Class of 1956. She married James Timlin, and they raised their family in the Waseca Area. They later divorced. Over the years Margaret "Peggy" managed the Anchor Inn of Waseca, worked at the Busy Bee, and later Lindner Liquors, all of Waseca. On February 6, 1977 she was united in marriage to Rory L. Thompson in Minneapolis. They resided in Waseca for many years before moving to Blue Earth in 2008. Peggy enjoyed playing cards, bingo, and watching the Minnesota sports teams. She treasured time spent with her family, especially her grandchildren and great grandchildren.

She is survived by her husband, Rory of Blue Earth; children, Steven (Bev) Timlin of Lake Delton, WI, Terry (Elke) Timlin of Yuma, AZ, Jarek (Ray) Timlin of Faribault, Dan (Rose Mortenson) Timlin of Granada, Kari Holida of Faribault, Jay Timlin of Coos Bay, OR, Gina (Tim Rhoads) Joel of Coos Bay, OR; brother, Jack Murphy of Waseca; sister, Diane Arnoldt of Janesville; 17 grandchildren and 17 great grandchildren; many nieces and nephews, other relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents; sister, Ce-Ce Hunt; brothers, Leo Murphy and Terry Murphy; great grandson, Blake Hoehn; son-in-law, Dan Joel; brother-in-law, Fred

Arnoldt.

Honorary bearers are Peggy''s grandchildren and great grandchildren.
