Lois M. Charbonneau, age 98, of Faribault, MN, passed away October 9, 2015, at Faribault Senior Living.

Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Friday, October 16, 2015 at 10:30 a.m. at the Divine Mercy Catholic Church, 139 Mercy Drive, Faribault. Interment will be at the Calvary Cemetery in Faribault.

Visitation will be held at the Parker Kohl Funeral Home in Faribault on Thursday from 4:00 - 7:00 p.m. and on Friday for one hour prior to the services at the church.

Lois Margaret was born on November 25, 1916, in Waterford Township, Dakota County, MN to Louis and Margaret (Cheney) Pleschourt. She was raised in Bridgewater Township, and attended country school and Northfield High School. Lois worked as a housekeeper for the Headmaster at St. Mary''s School. She was married to Francis "Buss" Charbonneau on April 18, 1938, at the Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in Faribault. He preceded her in death on January 14, 1990. She later worked at Randy''s Meats, Farmer Seed & Nursery, and was a Housemother at Minnesota State Academy for the Deaf (MSAD). Lois enjoyed quilting, sewing, and gardening. She worked on crossword puzzles on a daily basis and also devoted time to crocheting and making quilts for Infants Remembered in Silence (IRIS). Lois dedicated her life to her children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren.

She is survived by two children, Larry (Kathryn) Charbonneau and Sharon (Arnold) Gillen, both of Faribault; four grandchildren, Mark Charbonneau, Angela (Mike) Martin, Denise Gillen (special friend, Brian Boudreau), and Jim (Laura) Gillen; seven great grandsons; one great great granddaughter; and other relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Buss; parents, Louis and Margaret; son, Dale Charbonneau; three brothers, Walter Sr., Arnold, and Vernon Pleschourt; three sisters, Wilma Nash, Pearl LeBlanc, and Viola in infancy; and great grandson, Luke Martin.
