Kenneth M. Kaiser

Kenneth M. Kaiser, age 89 of Janesville, passed away on Wednesday, March 21, 2018, at the Janesville Nursing Home.
Mass of Christian Burial will be 11:00 am, Tuesday, March 27, 2018, at the St. Joseph Catholic Church in Waldorf, with Father Michael Cronin officiating. Private family interment will be held at St. Marys Cemetery at a later date.
Visitation will be held 4:00 to 7:00 pm Monday, March 26, 2018, at the Starkson & Steffel Funeral Home ~ Arnoldt Chapel of Janesville, and one hour prior to services at the church on Tuesday morning.
Ken was born November 17, 1928, to Martin and Theresa (Amberg) Kaiser in Waseca County. He attended country school and started farming in the early years of life.
On November 26, 1949, Ken married Belvy Root at St. Marys Catholic Church, and together had 11 children.
Kenny was a long time heavy equipment operator, and was a proud member of the International Union of Operating Engineers "Local #49".
Ken was an avid outdoorsman and hunter, taking trips to Alaska, Canada and across the states. He enjoyed ice spearing and playing cards. He was a talented and proud horseman.
He is survived by his wife of 68 years, Belvy; children, Danny (Louise Taylor) Kaiser, Ginger (Gary) Meurer, Connie (Claude Curtis) Kaiser, Mary (Alan) Kaiser, Tim (Ann Crabtree) Kaiser, Rose (David) Kruse, Brian Kaiser and Cindy (Steve) Arndt; grandchildren, Daniel Jr., Eric, Shandora, Franchesca, Josey, Luke, Kali, Alana, Devann, Jake, Dillon, Dustyne, Walker, Chelsea, Marissa, and Lincoln; many great grandchildren; sister, Sister Yvette Kaiser; and by other relatives and friends.
Kenneth was preceded in death by his parents; children, Sandra Kaiser, Charles Kaiser and Randy Kaiser; grandson, Carter Arndt; and by nine brothers and four sisters.
Arrangements are being completed by Starkson & Steffel Funeral & Cremation Services ~ Arnoldt Chapel of Janesville.
