Kandice Muir November 22, 1947 - December 24, 2012

Kandice Muir, age 65, of Northfield, passed away on Monday, December 24, 2012 at her residence.

Funeral services will be held on Friday, December 28, 2012 at 10:00 a.m. at the Parker Kohl Funeral Home & Crematory of Faribault with the Rev. Neale Thompson, chaplain of Northfield Hospice, officiating. Interment will be held at the Meadow Ridge Memorial Park in Faribault

Visitation will be held at the funeral home on Friday for one half hour prior to services.

Kandice Marie was born on November 22, 1947 at the Miller Hospital in St. Paul. At a young age, Kandice lived at various boarding homes through the Catholic Charities of Minnesota. She first lived at the Westin Children''s Home in Duluth for a few years, later moving to the Faribault Regional Center. She then moved to Maplewood House in Waseca for 11 years and most recently has been living at the Highland Home in Northfield. Kandice worked at Cannon River Enterprises in Faribault until she retired in 2009. She enjoyed listening to music, receiving massages and was always joking with her housemates and caregivers with her great sense of humor.

She will be greatly missed by her friends and family at Highland Homes in Northfield.
