JOYCE ANN WONDRA, age 65 of Pennington, died on Monday, October 3, 2016 at Hillcrest Health Care Center in Mankato.
Born on April 3, 1951 in Waseca, Minnesota, she was the daughter of Herbert and Betty (Yahnke) Gottschalk.  She graduated from Janesville High School in 1969 and went on to study at Albert Lea Vo-Tech.  Joyce married Richard Possehl and they were later divorced.   She worked as a CNA and at Brown Printing Company in Waseca for over 20 years.  Joyce married Patrick Wondra in August of 1994 in South Dakota.   She worked at Anderson Fabric in Blackduck, before retiring from Wal-Mart in Bemidji.  Joyce enjoyed going to garage sales and antiquing, fishing, hunting, sewing and crocheting, playing scrabble and cards.
She is survived by her husband, Pat of Pennington; one daughter, Melissa (Tom) Haack of Waseca; step-daughter, Paula Wondra of Pennington; and four grandchildren, Dayla, Chelsie, Chase and Payten Haack.   She is also survived by siblings, Carolyn (Daryl) Kohlhoff of Baraboo, WI, Diane (Lyle) Schlaak of Sioux Falls, SD, Gary (Kay) Gottschalk of Janesville, and Ronald Gottschalk of Apple Valley; father-in-law, Glen Wondra of Montgomery; and several nieces and nephews.   She was preceded in death by her parents and mother-in-law, Audrey Wondra. Memorial services will be held on Thursday, October 6, 2016 at 2:00 PM at Trinity Lutheran Church in Janesville.  Visitation will be held on Thursday, one hour before services at the church.
