Jimmie Joe Jorgenson, the son of Thomas and Beulah (Rudie) Jorgenson, was born on June 9, 1938 in Brewster, MN. He attended Brewster High School and graduated with the class of 1956. After high school, Jim served in the U.S. Navy until his honorable discharge in 1960. After his service time, Jim joined his brother Rudie in Faribault, MN. It was through Rudie that Jim met Kathleen Novak. They were married in 1964 and raised three children together. Though they later divorced they remained good friends and continued to celebrate all holidays and special events together with the entire family. This was a gift to their children and grandchildren and they will be forever grateful for this.

Jim was a true lover of life and could always be found with a smile on his face. He had many interests and hobbies. He was known for his mastery of the game of pool and played all over the world during his Navy days. He enjoyed tinkering with motors, machines, and gadgets; always reveling in the challenge of fixing or improving them. He was a sports enthusiast. He especially liked to watch football and baseball. Most of all he enjoyed spending time with his family. Whether it be trips to Norway, movie nights, or sharing ice cream or a cup of coffee; Jim was just happy to be with his family.

He will be remembered and admired most for his love of family, his kind and gentle spirit, and for not taking himself or life too seriously.

He is survived by his three children, Jackie (Jerry) Jarvis of Faribault, MN, Jamie (Phil) Liverseed of Owatonna, MN and Jim (Nicole) Jorgenson of Faribault, MN; by eight grandchildren, Jessica (Gordon) Jarvis-Hill, Jillian (Dan) Jarvis-Piper, Aaron (Molly) Liverseed, Santana Liverseed, Ashley (Harleigh) Hartsook, Alecia Caron, Brianna Jorgenson and Jacob; by five great grandchildren, Gracie, Gabby, Klare, Lorelei and Lilliahna; by his former wife and mother of his children, Kathy (Don) Eustice; by his siblings, Marie Wasmund Mews of Worthington, MN and Rudie (Llona) Jorgenson of Zimmerman, MN and by other relatives and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents, his great granddaughter Ava Liverseed and by brother-in-laws and sister-in-laws.
