Jamie Marie Taylor, age 33, of Faribault, MN, died unexpectedly on January 16, 2015.

Funeral services will be held on Thursday, January 22, 2015, at 10:30 a.m. at Faribault Church of Christ, 937 SW 9th Ave., with Pastor Garry Rosenau, officiating. Interment will be at the Maple Lawn Cemetery in Faribault.

Visitation will be held at the Parker Kohl Funeral Home in Faribault on Wednesday from 4:00 - 7:00 p.m. and on Thursday for one hour prior to the services at the church.

Jamie Marie was born on October 16, 1981, in Waterloo, Iowa, to Gene Jr. and Vicki (Frohling) Taylor. She graduated from Faribault High School and Dakota Technical College with a degree as a medical assistant. During high school, Jamie worked at Taco John''s and Total Entertainment Center. After college she worked at the Lonsdale Clinic, KQC, HyVee, and most recently as a para-professional with the Faribault Public Schools. Jamie was a very intelligent, unselfish and caring person. She often cared deeply for others to help them through tough times. She was a daredevil with her hobbies of motorcycling and snowmobiling.

She is survived by her children, Roberto Escamilla, James Escamilla, Julian Escamilla, and Rocio Escamilla; father, Gene Taylor Jr. of Faribault; mother, Vicki Taylor (Jeremy Milton) of Waterville; sister, Tanya (Jesse) Jorgenson of Morristown; brother, Gene Taylor III of Faribault; great grandmother, Alene Fain of Sheffield, Iowa; nieces, Hailey Rasmussen, Gabriella Garcia, and Mariah Taylor; nephews, Matthew Rasmussen, and Alonzo Garcia; and many aunts, uncles, and cousins from Waterloo area; and many friends.

She was preceded in death by her grandparents, Gene Taylor Sr., Donnalee Taylor, Byron Frohling, and Charlotte Frohling; uncle, Robert Taylor; and aunt, Pam Taylor.
