Isabel G. Beckley, age 103, of Faribault, MN passed away Monday, September 8, 2014 at the Pleasant Manor Nursing Home of Faribault.

Memorial services will be held on Saturday, September 13, 2014 at 11:00 a.m. at The Episcopal Cathedral of Our Merciful Saviour in Faribault, with the Rev. Henry Doyle and Deacon Lee Grim, officiating. Interment will be held at the Maple Lawn Cemetery in Faribault.

Visitation will be held at the church on Saturday from 10:00 to 11:00 a.m.

Isabel Grace Cann, the daughter of Daniel "Donald" and Anna (Corrigan) Cann, was born on June 15, 1911 in Gemmell, MN. Isabel''s family would move to Faribault and she attended Faribault High School and graduated with the class of 1930. On May 8, 1943 she was united in marriage to Paul G. Beckley at Fort Dix, NJ. Isabel worked at different drug stores in Faribault as a clerk and bookkeeper including, Poirier Drug and Central Drug Stores. Paul preceded her in death on January 25, 1981. Isabel was a lifelong member of the Episcopal Cathedral of Our Merciful Saviour and was an active member for many years. She worked for many years helping with the Soup Lunches held at church during Lent. She was a member of the Faribault Senior Center and was the recipient of the Outstanding Senior Award. She was a former board member of the District One Hospital Auxiliary and the Horstman Nursery School. Isabel also volunteered for many years at the Clothes Closet in Faribault.

She is survived by her two daughters, Sue LeMieux of Faribault and Paula Beckley Gildner (& Ken) of White Bear Lake, MN; by five grandchildren, Edward (Kerry) LeMieux, Chad LeMieux, Megan Spence, Ashley (Justin) Henning and Bethany (George) Orozco; by 4 great grandchildren, Finn and Renie Spence and John and Estelle LeMieux and by baby Hennig due next spring; by her special friend, Norma Lyons of Faribault and by other relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, two brothers, John and Stanley Cann and by her son-in-law, John LeMieux.

The family would like to thank Pleasant Manor Nursing Home and Staff for the wonderful care that was given to their mother Isabel.
