Gwendolyn "Gwenn" J. Deppe age 82 of Waseca, MN passed away at the Lake Shore Inn Nursing Home in Waseca on Friday, August 5, 2016.

Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, August 9, 2016 at 10:30 a.m. at St. Paul Lutheran Church in Waseca, with the Rev. David Baumgarn, Pastor, officiating. Interment will be held at the Woodville Cemetery in Waseca.

Visitation will be held at the McRaith Funeral Home & Crematory of Waseca on Monday from 4:00 to 7:00 p.m. and at the church on Tuesday for one hour prior to services.

In lieu of flowers, the family prefers that memorials be directed to St. Paul Lutheran Church or the Alzheimer''s Research Association in memory of Gwenn.

Gwendolyn Joanne, the daughter of David and Delores "Lucille" (Johnson) Isker, was born on December 29, 1933 in Waseca, MN. She attended Waseca High School and graduated with the class of 1952. After high school Gwenn worked for a short time at Federated Insurance in Owatonna, MN. On July 2, 1955 she was united in marriage to Orville Deppe in Waseca. They resided in Waseca all of their married life and were active members at St. Paul Lutheran Church. Mr. Deppe preceded her in death on March 5, 2012. After their marriage Gwenn stayed at home to raise their family but later worked as the Clerk of Municipal Court in Waseca and part time as a secretary at the University of Minnesota- Waseca. Gwen was also an owner/operator along with her husband of their trucking company, Deppe Trucking. Gwenn sold Mary Kay cosmetics for several years and also enjoyed reading, word searches, sewing, was an excellent cook and was a chaperone for the high school band trips to Canada, Wyoming and New York City.

She is survived by her five children, Dianna Deppe of Bloomington, MN, Denise (Michael) Biggar of Blue Springs, MO, Danita Proechel of Waseca, Danielle (LeRoy) Mechura of Waseca and Darla (Neal) Batt of Hartland, MN; by 17 grandchildren and 14 great

grandchildren; by her brother, Gary (Sally) Isker of Waseca; by her sister, Susan Isker of Rochester, MN and by many other relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband and by her grandparents.
