Geralda S. "Jerry" Eshleman, age 96 died on Saturday, July 9, 2011 at her residence in Colony Court in Waseca, MN. Geralda "Jerry" Stella was born on March 24, 1915, in Defiance, IA, the daughter of Alfred and Sarah (Harness) Hulsebus. She worked for Silverberg''s Grocery Store. Jerry married Dwayne Eshleman on September 21, 1940, in Wilmont, MN. They moved to a farm near Rushmore, MN, and lived there from 1942 - 1982. She was an extremely creative person and enjoyed sewing, knitting, crafting, cards, and flowers. Jerry also enjoyed performing skits with the Worthington Hospital Auxiliary. She was a member of the Westminster Presbyterian Church in Worthington. Jerry is survived by two daughters, Terri (Reuben) Elg of Apple Valley, MN and their children, Tanya (Richard) Rogers and their daughter, Kylaiah and Ryan Elg, all of St. Paul, MN, and Dawn (Paul) Nelemans of Waseca, MN, and their children, Brittini Nelemans of San Francisco, CA, and Cassidy Nelemans of Minneapolis, MN. She was preceded in death by her husband, Dwayne in 2003 and one brother, Leonard. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, July 13, 2011, at 10:30 a.m. at the Westminster Presbyterian Church in Worthington, MN, with Pastor Jim Krapf and Pastor Irwin VanLeeuwen officiating. Burial will be in the Worthington Memorial Gardens Cemetery. Visitation will be held on Tuesday, July 12, 2011, from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., at the Benson Funeral Home in Worthington. McRaith Funeral Home & Crematory of Waseca provided local assistance.
