Francis 'Fritz' Kaderlik June 21, 1937 - August 29, 2014

Francis "Fritz" Kaderlik, age 77, of Faribault, MN, passed away Friday, August 29, 2014, at the Faribault Care Center following an extended illness.

Memorial Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Wednesday, September 3, 2014, at 10:30 a.m. at the Church of St. Patrick in Shieldsville, MN. Interment will be at the Church of St. Patrick Cemetery.

Visitation will be held at the church on Tuesday from 4:00 - 8:00 p.m. and on Wednesday for one hour prior to the services at the church.

Arrangements are with the Parker Kohl Funeral Home & Crematory of Faribault.

Francis Joseph, the son of Frank and Mary (Pumper) Kaderlik, was born on June 21, 1937 in Lonsdale, MN. Fritz attended Faribault Central School and Faribault High School. On September 12, 1956 he was united in marriage to Patricia Caron at the Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Faribault. Fritz''s work career began at Swift & Company and later Wilson & Company in Faribault. After his time at Wilson''s Fritz began an over 35 year career as a truck driver and heavy equipment operator with different companies including, Ron Holmblad Trucking, Rice County Highway Department and Shieldsville Township. Fritz was a member of the Rice County Sheriff''s Motorcycle Patrol.

He is survived by his wife Patricia Kaderlik of Kilkenny, by his daughter and sons, Cindy (Chuck) Delesha, Randy Kaderlik and Dean (Jan) Kaderlik, all of Faribault; by six grandchildren, Bret Ryan, Eric Ryan, Kari Jo (Oscar) Limon, Jesse Kaderlik, Danielle Kaderlik and Ellen Kaderlik; by two great grandchildren, Montana Limon and Kaitlyn Limon; by his brother, Richard (Kathy) Kaderlik of Faribault; by his sister-in-law, Kathleen Voelker of Faribault and brother-in-law, Ronald Caron of Faribault and by nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends. Fritz is also survived by his loyal dog Oreo.

He is preceded in death by his parents, his father and mother-in-law, Ernest and Hazel

Caron and by his brother-in-law, Bruce Voelker.
