Everilde V. (Anton) Goodrich, age 85 of rural Mapleton, died on Wednesday, February 23, 2011 at Oaklawn Health Care Center in Mankato. Funeral services will be held on Monday, February 28th at 11:00 a.m. at Medo Evangelical Lutheran Church in Medo Township, Blue Earth County with Rev. Collette Broady Preiss, officiating. Interment will be in the Medo Central Cemetery. Visitation will be held on Sunday from 2 to 5 p.m. at Arnoldt-McRaith Funeral Home & Crematory in Janesville, and will continue on Monday morning for one hour prior to services, at church. Everilde Viola was born on November 28, 1925 in Alton Township, Waseca County to Walter and Hazel (Kormann) Anton. She attended elementary and junior high in Alma City, and graduated from Pemberton High School in 1944. She was united in marriage to Dean C. Goodrich at St. John''s Ev. Lutheran Church in Alma City. Everilde and Dean lived in Medo Township until moving to Belgrade Township, Nicollet County in 1956. They returned to Medo Township in 1972. Everilde was a former member of St. John's Lutheran Church in Mapleton, and most recently a member of Medo Ev. Lutheran Church where she was active in the Joy Circle Bible Study Group. She was also a longtime member of the Peppy Homemakers Home Extension in Pemberton. She is survived by her sons, Dennis (Mary Jean) Goodrich of Mankato, Duane (LeeAnn) Goodrich of Mapleton, and Gaylen (Edith) Goodrich of Shoreview; by her daughters Carol Andersen of Eureka, CA., Darla Lyndgaard of Owatonna, Ronda (Perry) Mortensen of Pemberton, Susan Gallagher of Waseca, and Barbara (David) Needham of Waseca; by 19 grandchildren, 9 great grandchildren and 1 great great grandson; by 2 step-grandchildren, and 5 step-great grandchildren; by many nieces and nephews and other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents Walter and Hazel (Kormann) Anton; by her husband Dean in 1984; by 2 infant sons, Mark in 1955 and Gregory in 1958; by her brother Darwin at infancy; by her two sons-in-law, Robert Andersen and Stanley Lyndgaard.
