Evelyn Ragan August 9, 1917 - April 21, 2009

Evelyn M. Ragan, age 91, of Faribault, died Tuesday, April 21, 2009 at the Three Links Care Center in Northfield. Private services will be held. Interment will be at the Maple Lawn Cemetery in Faribault. Arrangements are with the Parker Kohl Funeral Home of Faribault. Evelyn Margaret May Shay, the daughter of George and Margaret (May) Shay, was born on August 9, 1917 in Omaha, Neb. She graduated from high school in Clark, SD. Evelyn worked at the Faribault Regional Center for 26 years, retiring in 1982. She was a member of the Faribault Eagles Auxiliary. She is survived by her daughter-in-law, Carol Chadderdon of Faribault; three grandchildren, Mike (Renee) Chadderdon, John (Lynn) Chadderdon, and Linda (Troy) Hullett, all of Faribault; 7 great grandchildren; and other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents; brother, Marvin Shay; and son, Marvin Chadderdon.
