Dorothy Touchstone February 24, 1930 - November 29, 2008

Dorothy Brown Touchstone, age 78 of Dallas, TX, died Saturday, November 29, 2008 following an extended illness. Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Saturday, December 6, 2008 at 10:30 a.m. at St. Patrick Catholic Church in Shieldsville, with the Rev. Michael Kaluza, officiating. Interment will be held at St. Patrick Cemetery. Visitation will be held at the church on Saturday from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. Arrangements are being completed by the Parker Kohl Funeral Home in Faribault. Dorothy Ann Brown, the daughter of Edward and Catherine (Mahoney) Brown, was born on February 24, 1930 in Erin Township, Rice County, MN. Dorothy attended Bethlehem Academy and graduated with the class of 1948. Following high school Dorothy moved to Texas and has lived there for over 50 years. She is survived by her husband Jess Touchstone of Dallas, TX; by five children, Kelly (Jim) Loring of Hopkinton, MA, Kathy (Peter) Mullen of Cleburne, TX, Pamela (Tom) Osborne of Boynton Beach, FL, Patricia Touchstone of Dallas, TX and Stephen (Aime) Touchstone of Houston, TX; by five grandchildren, Stephen, Leah, Grace, Nathaniel and Geniefer; by four siblings, Stella Brown of Palos Hills, IL, Irene Miller, Richard Brown and Harry (LaNaya) Brown, all of Faribault and other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, her sister Helen Kaderlik and three brothers, Ralph, Don and Cyril Brown.
