Dorothy Eleanor Born, age 93, of Waseca died on Tuesday, October 21, 2014 at the Lake Shore Inn in Waseca following.

Funeral services will be held on Friday, October 24, 2014 at 11:00 a.m. at Christ the King Lutheran Church in Waseca, with Pastor Cary Larson officiating. Interment will be held at Woodland Hills Cemetery in Mankato.

Visitation will be held for one hour prior to services at the church on Friday.

Arrangements are being completed by the McRaith Funeral Home & Crematory of Waseca.

In lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred to Christ the King Lutheran Church or to the American Cancer Society.

Dorothy, daughter of John and Opal Morgan, was born on July 18, 1921 in Granite Falls, Minnesota. She attended high school in Granite Falls and spent a year at college following graduation. She met and was married to Lester Born. She worked in assembly at E.F. Johnson for many years.

Dorothy is survived by her children, Robert Born of Janesville and Sheryl (Tim) Condon of Waseca; grandsons, Brent Condon, Jesse (Sara) Jewison, and Shane (Kelly) Jewison; great-granddaughters, LillyAnn and Maddan; and by many other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her husband; parents; daughter, Diane Jewison; brother, Rodney Morgan; sisters-in-law, Mabel Campbell, Faye Swenson, and Fern Klempe; and by her brother-in-law, Allen Born.
