Donna J. Kelsey, age 79, of Faribault, died Saturday, November 7, 2009 at St. Mary''s Hospital in Rochester. Memorial services will be held on Wednesday, November 11, 2009 at 2:00 p.m. at the Parker Kohl Funeral Home in Faribault, with Rev. Daniel Mead, pastor of First Baptist Church in Faribault, officiating. Interment will be at the Meadow Ridge Memorial Park in Faribault. Visitation will be held on Wednesday from 1:00 - 2:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Donna Jean Meehl, the daughter of Goodwin and Mabel (Mosher) Meehl, was born on April 18, 1930 in Faribault. She was raised and attended school in Faribault. Donna married Clarence Kelsey and he died shortly after their marriage. Donna was a homemaker and worked as a waitress. She is survived by her daughter, Carol (Bruce) Christenson of Faribault; three grandchildren; two brothers, Don (Bernie) Meehl and Charles Meehl, both of Faribault; two sisters, Eleanor Berg and Patty Moriarity, both of Faribault; and other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her husband; parents; brother, Clifford Meehl; grandson, Brian Patterson; and special friend, Bob Kispert.
