DELMAR J. KRAMER, age 82 of Waterville died on Wednesday, August 8, 2018 at the Lake Shore Inn in Waseca.
Born on June 8, 1936 in Little Rock, Iowa, he was the son of Peter and Jennie (Kruger) Kramer.  He graduated from Tracy High School in Tracy, Minnesota in 1954.  He married Ruth Watzek in March of 1969 in Watertown, South Dakota and they were later divorced.  Delmar was employed with the MN Department of Natural Resources at the Waterville Fisheries for 35 years until his retirement in 1998.   He was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church in Waterville where he drove bus for the confirmation class.  He was also a member of the Waterville Sportsmans Club.  Delmar enjoyed hunting, fishing and gardening.  He also enjoyed bowling and horseshoes and played Santa Claus for local community events for many years.
He is survived by two step-daughters, Patricia (John) Scholljegerdes of Waterville and Nancy (Dave) Pederson of Clarks Grove; three grandchildren; and four great grandchildren.  He is also survived by siblings, Marvin (Rita) Kramer of Mankato, Christine (Steve) Miller of Littleton, CO, Donald (Georgene) Kramer of Buffalo, Gerald (Irvina) of Elk River, Virgil (Donna) Kramer of Florida, and Allen Kramer of Currie.   He was preceded in death by his parents; brother, Vernon; and granddaughter, Tricia Scholljegerdes. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, August 15, 2018 at 11:00 AM at Trinity Lutheran Church in Waterville.  Burial will follow at Sakatah Cemetery in Waterville.  Visitation will be held on Wednesday, one hour before services at the church.
