Deborah Kae Volkmer

DEBORAH KAE VOLKMER, age 58 of El Paso, Texas died on February 17, 2022 at her home.

Born on February 14, 1964 in Indianapolis, Indiana, she was the daughter of Richard and Barbara (Thomas) Volkmer. Deb was a 1982 graduate of Mankato West High School and received her degree in Medical Transcription from the Mankato VoTech in 1985. Following her schooling, Deb moved to El Paso where she worked in the medical records department at Las Palmas Medical Center for over 25 years. She enjoyed doing crafts, puzzles, and reading. Deb was a member of Cielo Vista Church in El Paso where she sang with the choir and volunteered with the Christmas pageant. She was a former member of Grace Baptist Church in Mankato.

Deb is survived by her parents, Richard and Barbara Volkmer of Mankato; siblings, Christine Frazier of El Paso, TX, Charles (Naomi) Volkmer of Waseca, and Angela (Andrew) Warren of Livermore, CA and several nieces and nephews and other relatives. She was preceded in death by her grandparents; one brother-in-law, James David Frazier; aunts, uncles, and cousins.

A celebration of Deb’s life will be held at the Janesville Chapel of Dennis Funeral & Cremation Services on Friday, June 3, 2022 at 1:30 PM. A time of visiting and fellowship will follow the service. Burial will be at the Janesville Cemetery.
