DeEtt (Carver) Drevlow, age 80, of Faribault, died Sunday, June 14, 2009 at Three Links Care Center in Northfield. A Celebration of DeEtt''s life will be held on Thursday, June 18, 2009 at 11:00 a.m. at the Drevlow home (1400 St. Paul Rd.) followed by a reception at the Faribault Elks Lodge (131 Lyndale Ave.). Interment will be at Fort Snelling National Cemetery on Friday. Arrangements are with the Parker Kohl Funeral Home in Faribault. DeEtt Bernice Carver, the daughter of Archie and Mabel (Ryding) Carver, was born on November 5, 1928 in Cannon City Township. She graduated from Faribault High School with the class of 1947. She married Melvin Drevlow on May 3, 1947 at St. John''s Evangelist & Reformed Church in Wheeling Township. He preceded her in death on August 17, 1996. DeEtt worked as a beautician her entire career, starting at Milady''s in Faribault for 13 years, and then operating DeEtt''s Beauty Shop in her home until March of 2009. DeEtt enjoyed Blue Grass and County music, crafts, her flower garden, antiques, and baking apple pies. She is survived by her son, Steve (Jane) Drevlow of Faribault; three grandchildren, Nathaniel Drevlow, Emily Drevlow, and Cassie Fitzpatrick; two great grandchildren, Cheyenne and Ciera Fitzpatrick; special friend, Martin "Cot" Schmidtke of Morristown; two brothers, Russell (Rita) Carver of Faribault, and Roger "Dick" Carver of Live Oaks, CA; and by many nieces, nephews, and other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her husband; parents; three brothers, Charles Carver, John (Delores) Carver, and Robert Carver; sister, Catherine (Bill) Abney; and sister-in-law, Tillie Carver.
