Darlene C. Keough May 27, 1946 - January 1, 2015

Darlene C. Keough, age 68, of Faribault, MN, passed away, January 1, 2015, at St. Mary''s Hospital in Rochester, MN, following a sudden illness.

Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Friday, January 9, 2015, at 10:30 a.m. at the Divine Mercy Catholic Church, 139 Mercy Drive, Faribault. Interment will be at the St. Lawrence Cemetery in Faribault.

Visitation will be held at the Parker Kohl Funeral Home in Faribault on Thursday from 4:00 - 8:00 p.m. and on Friday for one hour prior to the services at the church.

Darlene Catherine was born on May 27, 1946, in Faribault to Charles and Catherine (Mach) Culhane. She graduated from Morristown High School in 1964. Darlene was married to Stanley Keough in 1966 at the Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in Faribault. In 1964, Darlene started her lengthy career in banking with the Security Bank in Faribault, which later became First Northwestern, Norwest, and Wells Fargo at her retirement in 2004. Along with her dedication to her banking career, Darlene had been a tax preparer with H&R Block since 1964 to the present. She was a member of the Faribault Knights of Columbus Auxiliary.

Darlene and Stan were members of the Cannon Valley Saddle Club from 1997-2013, where she enjoyed being the announcer for the Club events. Darlene loved caring for her flower garden, crafts, traveling and camping with her family. She truly enjoyed family gatherings, always opening her home to everyone. She especially liked watching her granddaughter''s dance and sporting events.

She is survived by her husband, Stanley of Faribault; her son, Dan Keough of Bagley and his daughters, Cassandra and Demi Keough; her daughter, Tammy Keough of Chanhassen; her mother, Catherine Culhane of Faribault; siblings, David (Nancy) Culhane of Morristown; Donna (Joe) Slinger of Faribault, and Chuck (Marsha) Culhane of Faribault; many nieces, nephews, and other relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by her father, Charles; and brother, Daniel Culhane.
