Daniel G. Kokoschke, age 75 of Lengby, MN and formerly of Morristown, MN passed away unexpectedly on Saturday, August 15, 2015.

A memorial visitation will be held at the Parker Kohl Funeral Home & Crematory of Faribault on Saturday, August 22, 2015 from 2:00 to 4:00 p.m. Military honors will be provided by the Rice County Central Veterans Association.

Interment will be held at the North Morristown Cemetery at a later date.

Daniel Gerhardt, the son of Walter and Emma Kokoschke, was born on January 1, 1940 in Faribault, MN. He attended Morristown High School and graduated with the class of 1958. After high school Daniel served in the U.S. Army. He operated a milk route for Land-O- Lakes for 17 years, and then moved to northern Minnesota and owned and operated Roy Lake Store in Mahnomen, MN from 1982 - 2004. Daniel then retired and moved to Lengby. He enjoyed hunting, fishing and gardening.

He is survived by his two children, Todd Kokoschke of Doyline, LA and Patty (Paul) Cole of New Prague, MN; by five grandchildren, Paul Richard Cole of Wilmington, NC, Jesse Cole of Eden Prairie, MN, Dakota Cole, Jordan Cole and Abagail Cole, all of New Prague, MN; by his brother, Larry (Darla) Kokoschke of Faribault; by three sisters, Harriett (Harold) Kuball of Morristown, MN, Carol Mensing of Perham, MN and Darlene (Lloyd) Ross of Faribault, MN and by nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents and his brother-in-law, Stuardt Mensing.
