Clinton "Butch" Kazemba

May 29, 1937 — April 19, 2021

CLINTON “BUTCH” KAZEMBA, age 83 of Waterville died on Monday, April 19, 2021 at the Homestead Hospice House in Owatonna following an eleven-year battle with Parkinson’s Disease.

Born on May 29, 1937 in Sioux Valley, Jackson County, Minnesota, he was the son of Emil and Edna Kazemba. Butch attended school in rural Jackson County. Following his schooling he farmed and later worked at Sather Candy Company. Butch married Ruth Hundertmark on December 29, 1969. They moved to Waterville in 1973 and he was employed with several feed companies before later working for Lakes Gas. Butch also worked as a herdsman for Fritz and Bonnie Cummins and as custodian at Trinity Lutheran Church in Waterville.

Butch loved fishing, playing horseshoes, bowling, gardening, and playing bingo. He especially loved the time spent with his family and grandchildren. He was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church in Waterville and had been active with the Waterville Lions Club.

He is survived by his wife, Ruth of Waterville; children, Carl (Mary) Arndt of Rosemount, Sandy (Tim) Kinniry of Waterville, Mike (Denise) Arndt of Lake Crystal, and Brenda (Chad) Domonoske of Waterville; seven grandchildren, Garrett (Ashley) Kinniry, Kayla (Danny) Kropp and Tucker Kinniry, Alyssa and Taylor Arndt, and Connor and Desirae Domonoske; two great grandchildren, Jocelyn Arndt and Halle Kinniry and two additional great grandchildren on the way. He is also survived by his four children from a previous marriage, Rick, Mark, Debbie, and Allan; one sister, Loretta Kaderabek of Jackson; brother-in-law, James Hundertmark of Stewartville; and sisters-in-law, Donna VanDenBerg of Stewartville, and Carol (John) DeBoer of Clear Lake, SD. He was preceded in death by his parents and one daughter, Denise.

Funeral Services will be held on Sunday, April 25, 2021 at 3:00 PM at Trinity Lutheran Church in Waterville. Visitation will be held on Sunday from 1:00 PM until the time of services at the church. Private family burial will take place at Sakatah Cemetery at a later date.
