Brian Auringer

Brian Auringer, age 56, of New Ulm, died on Monday, July 8, 2019, at Laurels Peak in Mankato.
Memorial service will be 5 PM on Monday, July 15, at Starkson & Steffel Funeral Home ~ Arnoldt Chapel of Janesville with a visitation for one hour prior to the service at the funeral chapel. Burial will be in Minneopa Cemetery in Mankato on a later date.
Brian Jay Auringer was born on June 5, 1963, in Mankato to Dennis and Leone (Wrightson) Auringer. He attended Janesville High School where he graduated with the class of 1983. Brian lived in St. Peter, Mankato and most recently in New Ulm. Brian enjoyed model cars and metal scrapping in his younger years. He was a simple man who loved to fish. Blessed be his memory.
He is survived by his father, Dennis (Pat) Auringer of Eagle Lake; mother, Leone Auringer of Mankato; brother: Brad (Jean) Auringer of Waseca; sisters: Tammy (Jeff) Holcomb of Janesville and Tonya Auringer of Mankato; aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and other relatives.
Preceded in death by his brother, Terry Auringer in infancy, and grandparents.
