Brenda Lee (Jorde) Rose

Born January 3, 1959 in Rochester, MN, Brenda passed away unexpectedly in her sleep on December 27, 2020 in Waterville, MN.

Brenda lived in several towns throughout the Twin Cities and southern Minnesota over her lifetime and was a graduate of Hastings High School and UWRF.

Brenda was the world’s best Grandma, Mom and Wife. She would do anything to help family and friends. Brenda loved the outdoors, especially hunting and fishing with her husband and grandkids and her new-found hobby of nature photography. She was an expert lefse maker who enjoyed summer gardens and canning. This past summer she finally got her lake house and decided to retire, with plans to spend time with her family and maybe hit the casino once in a while.

Brenda was preceded in death by her dad, Robert Jorde, and brothers, Robert and William Jorde. Brenda is survived by her loving husband, best friend, and soul mate of 21 years Kevin Rose; 3 daughters Sara (Randy) Stenger, Carrie Glaubitz, and Katie (Taylor) Price; Mother Beverly Jorde (Jerry Boudin); sisters Becky (Darrell) Irwin and Barb (Bob) Thompson; grandchildren Jake and Josie Hamann, Xander, Jared, and Will Stenger, Kallie Price, and Odin Glaubitz; and many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Friends and family will be notified of a memorial service to be held at a future date.
