Beverly Swanson September 15, 1948 - October 15, 2008

Beverly Swanson, age 60, of Faribault, died Wednesday, October 15, 2008, at her home following an extended illness. Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Monday, October 20, 2008 at 10:30 a.m. Divine Mercy Catholic Church at Sacred Heart in Faribault. Interment will be at the Oak Ridge Cemetery in Faribault. Visitation will be held at the Parker Kohl Funeral Home in Faribault on Sunday from 2:00 to 5:00 p.m. and on Monday for one hour prior to the services at the church. In lieu flowers, memorials are preferred. Beverly Jean Craig, the daughter of Harvey and Audrey (Wilson) Craig, was born on September 15, 1948, in Faribault. She attended country school in Cannon City Township. Beverly was married to Robert Swanson Jr. on August 16, 1975 in Morristown, MN. He preceded her in death on September 27, 2003. Beverly was a homemaker for much of her life. She is survived by her mother, Audrey Craig of Faribault; three children, Sheila Swanson (special friend, Tom Danielson) of Faribault, Thomas (Fernanda) Pofahl of Wichita, KS, and Donna Krautkremer (fiance Steve Gustafson) of Faribault; three stepchildren, Gene Swanson, Christine Trammel, and David Swanson; grandchildren, Joshua, Amber, Kami, Christian, Devin, Austin, Scott, Brad Jr., and Trisha; brother, Harold "Buzz" (Gloria) Craig of Northfield; two sisters, Carol (Ralph) Kruckenberg of Faribault, and Nancy Craig (and Eli Jandro) of Faribault; and other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her husband; and father.
