Beverly Roberta Hansen May 15, 1938 - August 29, 2014

Roberta "Berta" Hansen, age 76, of Faribault, passed away Friday, August 29, 2014 at St. Benedict''s Senior Community in St. Cloud, MN following an extended illness.

Memorial services will be held on Friday, September 5, 2014 at 11:00 a.m. at the Parker Kohl Funeral Home & Crematory of Faribault, with the Rev. Richard L. Jorgensen, officiating. Interment will be held at the Meadow Ridge Memorial Park Cemetery, Faribault.

Visitation will be held at the Parker Kohl Funeral Home & Crematory on Friday from 9:30- 11:00 a.m.

Beverly Roberta Moore, the daughter of James and Anna (Goodson) Moore, was born on May 15, 1938 in Minneapolis, MN. She grew up in Minneapolis and graduated from Minneapolis Central High School. On September 9, 1961 she was united in marriage to Robert E. Hansen in Minneapolis. The Hansen''s lived in Minneapolis after their marriage and Roberta worked at Northwestern National Life. In 1967 they moved to Redfield, SD and lived there until 1976 when they moved to Faribault. Roberta worked at different businesses in Faribault including Farmer Seed and Nursery and the Wilson Apple Orchard. Bob preceded her in death on August 15, 1999. Roberta was a member of First English Lutheran Church. She enjoyed gardening, working in the yard, visiting with her friends and neighbors and especially enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren and family.

She is survived by her two sons, Corey Hansen and his wife Marci of Sartell, MN and their children, Ellie, Carlie and Casey and Mike Hansen of Faribault; by four siblings, Annette (Ray) Combest of Montgomery, TX, Bill (Carol) Moore of Lake City, MN, Jim (Donnie) Moore of Tulsa, OK and Jack Moore of Blaine, MN and by many nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, brother, Pat Moore, sister, Betsy Moore and sister-in-law, Emily Moore.
