Arnold H. Ruege

Arnold H. Ruege, 89, of Janesville, passed away Saturday, October 28 at his home.
Funeral service will be 11:00am Friday, November 3, 2017 at the Trinity Lutheran Church of Janesville, with a visitation one-hour prior. Interment will be in the Janesville Cemetery.
Arrangements are being handled by the Starkson & Steffel Funeral and Cremation Services ~ Arnoldt Chapel of Janesville.
Arnold was born April 13, 1928 on the family farm in Beauford MN to Henry and Alma (Tietz) Ruege and he went to country school in Beauford through the 8th grade.
He joined the United States Army in 1948, returned to Mankato where he spent most of his adult life as a milkman for Oak Grove Dairy and a school bus aide after he retired. Arnie enjoyed racing and fixing cars. He moved to Janesville in 2000.
He is survived by his children, Doug Paulson, Deanna Ruege and Janine Ruege - Hudson; grandchildren, Christian Paulson, Jessica Harper, Carl (Abby) Allen, Jennifer (Benjamin) Bjorklund, David Hudson and James Rassler; great-grandchildren, Aiden Bjorklund and Greta Allen; dear friend, Delphine A. Roeker.
He was preceded in death by his parents and son, David Ruege.
