November 12, 1933 — August 4, 2020

ALICE ANNIE SEIBEL, age 86 of Morristown, died at her home on Tuesday, August 4, 2020.

Born on the family farm in Le Sueur County on November 12, 1933, Alice was the daughter of George and Ella (Bittrich) Kelm. She grew up on that farm and attended country school when she was young. She worked on various farms, cooking and cleaning, and also at Best Point Resort where she met her husband. Alice was married to John Seibel at German Lake on October 8, 1954, and soon thereafter they began their family. She was the mother of seven children while also working at various jobs like the canning factory, turkey store, Ryte Way, and Pearson Candy Company. She spent every Friday night at the American Legion in Morristown playing bingo. When at home she would always have her embroidery in hand. She enjoyed cooking, baking, flowers, going out to eat, and shopping. She also loved spending time with her children and grandchildren, and spoiling her great-grandchildren. Alice attended Peace United Methodist Church in Morristown.

Alice is survived by her children, Sharon (Bill) Malecha of Lindstrom, Janet (Bob) Waugh of Waterville, Pete Seibel of Faribault, Billy (Lori) Seibel of Morristown, and Carol Lopez of Waterville; nine grandchildren; sixteen great-grandchildren; one brother, Otto Kelm of Minneapolis; and one sister-in-law, Mary Kelm of Hastings. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; one son, Harold Seibel; and one daughter, Irene Seibel.

Funeral services (limited to 100 individuals) will be held at 11:00AM on Saturday, August 8, 2020 at Peace United Methodist Church in Morristown, with Rev. Elden Eklund officiating.
