Adeline Ceplecha March 26, 1920 - January 11, 2012

Adeline E. Ceplecha, age 91, of Faribault, passed away on Wednesday, January 11, 2012 at the St. Lucas Care Center in Faribault. Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Saturday, January 14, 2012, at 11:00 a.m. at the Church of St. Patrick in Shieldsville, MN, with Fr. Erik Lundgren, officiating. Interment will be in the St. Patrick Church Cemetery, Shieldsville. Visitation will be held on Saturday from 9:30 - 11:00 a.m. at the church. Arrangements are with the Parker Kohl Funeral Home & Crematory of Faribault. Adeline E Petricka, the daughter of Anton and Petronella (Trcka) Petricka, was born on March 26, 1920 in rural Montgomery, MN. Adeline was married to George Ceplecha Sr. on November 28, 1939 at the Holy Redeemer Catholic Church in Montgomery. They farmed for several years, owned businesses in Shieldsville, and she worked at Andrews Nursery and Farmer Seed and Nursery. George preceded her in death on February 17, 2008. Adeline enjoyed visiting with her grandchildren and great grandchildren. She is survived by two children, Joanne Drentlaw and Kenneth (Pat) Ceplecha, both of Faribault; six grandchildren, Karen (Ben) Winter, Mary Jo (Kirk) Miller, Dale (Laura) Drentlaw, Linda (Jason) Dusek, Shanassa Ceplecha, and Matthew Ceplecha; 13 great grandchildren; and other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, George Sr.; son, George Ceplecha Jr.; granddaughter, Kayla Dusek; brothers, Joseph, George, Anton, and Emil Petricka; and one sister, Mary Hruby.
