Mary A. Winegar
MARY AGNES WINEGAR, age 72 of Waseca died Wednesday, February 27, 2008 at the New Richland Care Center.
Born in Waseca, Minnesota on June 14, 1935, she was the daughter of Raphael and Genevieve (Lang) Farley. She attended grade school in Waseca County and graduated from Janesville High School. Mary worked for the E.F. Johnson Co. in Waseca for 13 years. She married Donald Winegar on August 17, 1968 at St. Mary's Catholic Church in Waseca County. Donald and Mary along with George and Sharlene Winegar were co-owners of Winegar Inc. Following her retirement from Winegarís, Mary was a volunteer at the Waseca Medical Center and with Lutheran Social Services. She was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Waseca where she was involved with the St. Agnes Circle and Quilters. She was also a member of the Catholic Daughters and Winona Council of Catholic Women as well as the Waseca Eagles and Irish American Club.
She is survived by one son, David and Cheri Winegar of Waseca; one daughter, Diane Winegar and Bruce Lombard of Mankato; and four grandchildren, Genevieve, Dylan, Logan, and Alexander. She is also survived by siblings, Margie Graif of Waseca, Joseph and ReNee Farley of Lonsdale, James and Del Farley of Waseca, Jane and Robert Malterer of Waseca, Lucy Herold of Janesville and Robert Farley of Janesville; and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Donald; one sister-in-law, Maureen Farley; and two brothers-in-law, Joseph Graif and Marvin Sommers.
Visitation will be held at Kinder-Dennis Home for Funerals in Waseca on Sunday, March 2, 2008 from 3-7 PM and continue on Monday, one hour before services at church. There will be a 12:15 PM Catholic Daughters Rosary on Monday at the church.
Funeral services will be held on Monday, March 3, 2008 at 1:00 PM at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Waseca with Rev. Syl Brown officiating. Burial will follow at Woodville Cemetery in Waseca
