JEANETTE LORETTA TOLLEFSON, age 97 of Waseca died Saturday, February 16, 2008 at the New Richland Care Center.

Born in Deerfield Township, Steele County, Minnesota on September 19, 1910, she was the daughter of William and Louise (Schuette) Lorenz. She graduated from Waseca High School in 1928 and then graduated from the Minneapolis School of Business in 1929.  She married Roy Tollefson July 26, 1936 in Fort Dodge, Iowa.  She and her husband were partners in the Coast to Coast Hardware Store in Waseca from 1943 until retiring in 1967.  For 30 years of their retirement, she and her husband enjoyed spending the winter months in Port Charlotte, Florida.  She was a member of Faith United Methodist Church in Waseca and various church women's organizations.  She is survived by many nieces, nephews and friends.  She was preceded in death by her parents and husband.  

Visitation will be Tuesday, February 19, 2008 from 5-7 PM at Kinder-Dennis Home for Funerals in Waseca and one hour prior to the service at the church on Wednesday.

Funeral services will be held Wednesday, February 20, 2008 at 11:00 A.M. at Faith United Methodist Church in Waseca with Rev. Neil Westby officiating.  Burial will follow at Woodville Cemetery in Waseca.
