FRANK “TUFFY” STEVEN TILLACK, age 56 of Owatonna, died on Tuesday, September 27, 2011 at the Waterville Good Samaritan Center.

Born in Sioux City, Iowa on April 19, 1955, Frank was the son of James Tillack and Bonnie (Marten) Beeghley.  After high school, he attended Rochester Community College where he earned a degree in social work.  For most of Frank’s career, he assisted and cared for people with mental and physical disabilities.  He enjoyed hunting, fishing, archery, leather working, antiquing, arm wrestling, and playing the guitar.

Frank is survived by five children, Jett Tillack of Baraboo, WI, Tori Breisath of Beloit, WI, Tia (Jonathan) Chitwood of Madison, WI, Toby Tillack of Rochester MN, and Jedidiah Tillack of Rochester; three grandchildren, JT Tillack, Faye Breisath, and Racheal Breisath; and one sister, Tami Tillack of Bronson, IA.  He was preceded in death by both of his parents, and one sister, Jacquelyn Tillack.

A private memorial service will take place in Iowa at a later date.
