GOLDIE HANNAH SEEWALD, age 81 of Owatonna, died on Sunday, June 20, 2010 at Owatonna Commons.

Born on October 19, 1928 in Waseca County, Minnesota, she was the daughter of Herman and Alma (Schuldt) Seewald.  Goldie attended rural Waseca County School and graduated from Waseca High School in 1946.  Following high school she worked at Birdseye Division of General Foods in Waseca for ten years.  In 1964 she began working at Josten’s in Owatonna where she continued to work until retiring in 1991.  In her free time, Goldie enjoyed reading and crocheting.  She was a member of Redeemer Lutheran Church in Owatonna. 

Goldie is survived by one aunt, Emly Krienke of Waseca, eight nieces, one nephew and cousins.  She was preceded in death by her parents, one sister- LaJune Wobschall and one brother- Lyle Seewald.

Funeral services will be held on Thursday, June 24, 2010 at 1:00 PM at St. Paul Lutheran Church in Waseca with Rev. Terry Quick officiating.  Visitation will be one hour prior to the service at the church on Thursday.  Burial will follow at Woodville Cemetery in Waseca.
