HARRIET LOUISE ROE, age 73 of Waseca died on Sunday, November 13, 2011 at Lake Shore Inn in Waseca.

Born on July 28, 1938 in Waseca County, Minnesota she was the daughter of George H. and Helen M. (Bucek) Miller.  Harriet married Leo A. Roe on November 26, 1960 at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Waseca.  Over the years, she was employed with the Waseca Laundry and the Neighborhood Service Center.  Harriet was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Waseca.

She is survived by three sons, Leo Roe Jr. of Manchester, Gerald (Wendy) Roe of Mankato and Russell Roe and Peggy Larson of Spring Valley; eight grandchildren; and several great grandchildren.  She is also survived by siblings, Robert (Jean) Miller of Waseca, Mary (Orville) Bolduan of New Richland, Kenneth (Roxie) Miller of Waseca, and Linda (Ray) Mudgett of New Richland; and caretaker and friend, Sue Farrow.  She was preceded in death by her parents; husband in 2001; and siblings, Laurice Tetzloff, Lorraine Knutson, Ruth Nelson, George Miller, Richard Miller, and Sharon Huntington.

Funeral services will be held at Kinder-Dennis Home for Funerals in Waseca on Thursday, November 17, 2011 at 11:00 AM with Sr. Lois Erpelding officiating.  Burial will follow at Calvary Cemetery in New Richland.  Visitation will be held on Thursday, one hour before services at the funeral home.

Memorials are preferred to Sacred Heart Catholic Church or to Homestead Hospice House of Owatonna.
